A recent survey of 10,000 households by The Demand Institute shows that one in three U.S. households say they plan to move in the next five years. The research reveals several unmet housing-related desires – gaps between what Americans say they have currently and what they say they want in their next home.

The following are the top 10 housing desires (and how a new American West home meets each one):

The 2015 Silver Nugget Awards

The 2015 Silver Nugget Awards were held Saturday night. It is a celebration of the achievements and excellence in the Las Vegas home building industry.

We are thrilled that American West was the winner of all of the Best Master Bath Awards. Our Jones Crossing Plan 2311 was a winner of the Best Single Family Home.

In addition, two of our incredible sales people, Candee from Inverness and Lauren from Jones Crossing were recognized as being the best in their field as well as Danny Welsh.

It was a wonderful evening of celebrating the incredible homebuilding taking place in our fantastic city.
