Contemporary and Innovative Skyview Terrace Grand Opens

We are thrilled to  announce the launch of our newest community, Skyview Terrace. Located in Southwest Las Vegas, this innovative community introduces a new collection of contemporary, single-family homes which include rooftop decks as standard.

The new 3-story designs at Skyview Terrace range from 2,344 to 2,550 square feet, and will feature American West’s hallmarks of quality, value and choice. Unlike competing builders that are offering rooftop decks as luxury upgrades costing $20,000 and up, though, American West will offer them as standard included features.

As noted in MarketWatch.com, additions of rooftop decks have been accelerating for the past several years. Pete Reeb, a principal at John Burns Real Estate Consulting in Irvine, CA, said, “Builders are finding great success in attracting buyers by offering thoughtfully designed and integrated rooftop decks in new home projects.”

“In addition to adding value to the homes, the rooftop decks offer homebuyers over 500 square feet of additional outdoor living space,” said Larry Canarelli, American West Company Founder. “Homebuyers are attracted to the lower maintenance appeal of rooftop decks. Plus, the views from our rooftop decks are incredible. There are mountain views to the west and Strip views to the east.”

Skyview Terrace is a gated community that will also feature a community/dog park for its residents. The open living spaces and finishes in the homes bring the best of contemporary, innovative living to the Las Vegas Valley.

Jones Crossing is the Hottest Property in Town!

A recent article in the Las Vegas Business Press reported on the upswing pace of new home sales and closings in Southern Nevada. Amid the impressive numbers collated by Home Builder Research, the third quarter of 2017 had 6,644 closings which was a 15.8 percent increase from 2016. In October of 2017 the city had 746 new home sales which brought the 2017 total of new home sales to 7,392, a 14.3 percent increase from 2016.

“The consumer demand has continued to be stronger than we envisioned earlier this year,” said Dennis Smith, president of Home Builders Research. “Builders have been getting more creative, and many have expanded their product offerings.”

Also included in the article is the fact that American West’s Jones Crossing community has closed the most homes in 2017, through October. 130 homes have been sold at Jones Crossing, beating out several national builders in the area, including DR Horton, KB Home and Lennar.

What does Jones Crossing have that makes it so popular? Several things, including contemporary home designs that fit a variety of lifestyles, an incredible price point from the $290’s, and a sought-after location at Coronado Ranch in the southwest valley. When you add in the best schools, plentiful shopping and recreation options, and easy access to the 215 Beltway, it’s not hard to see why Jones Crossing is such a hit with new home buyers.

Come see Jones Crossing for yourself. Call (702) 323-5403 for more information. Sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and located at 6154 Parma Ridge Ct., Las Vegas, NV 89118.
