Las Vegas is Packed with Fun Holiday Festivities!

Las Vegas is s city that knows how to celebrate the holidays. There are tons of festivities throughout the city and we have picked out just a few of our favorite holiday events and activities.

NOV 7-JAN 1
Holiday Cactus Garden at the Ethel M Chocolate Factory

The Holiday Cactus Garden returns with more than a million lights adorning the desert landscaping. Santa will be around on weekends for photo ops. Plus there’s an ice skating rink this year. Cost: Free admission. (Skating $10/hour 10am-6pm, $15/hour 6-10pm).

Lights On The Speedway

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway goes holiday with a massive display of lights. Drive your car around and under colorful tributes to Christmas, Hanukkah, and everything else jolly and bright. Cost: $20-30 ($50 for fast pass).

NOV 17-DEC 25
Holiday Fun in Summerlin

Downtown Summerlin’s free holiday parade features everything from toy soldiers to nutcrackers. The parade runs weekends until December 15; then it runs nightly through Christmas Eve. There’s also an ice skating rink, a Hanukkah celebration (Dec. 13), and Santa’s Chalet with a pine forest. Cost: Free (Skating $15; Santa photos start at $24.99.)

Holiday Cookies at The Honolulu Cookie Company – The Grand Canal Shoppes

Indulge in some serious Christmas cookies with these delicious holiday creations, including white chocolate pumpkin and white chocolate ginger spice shortbreads. Cost: Boxes of cookies range from $12-$43 depending what you get.

NOV 20-JAN 10
Skating and snow storms and s’mores at The Cosmopolitan

The Ice Rink is back at the Boulevard Pool, along with fire pits, snow storms, and classic holiday movies. Cost: Free admission. (All-day skating $20; skating for locals & hotel guests $10 Tuesday-Thursday.)

NOV 24-JAN 1
Start a new tradition at the Winter Village at Green Valley Ranch

For the first time, the Backyard at Green Valley Ranch will become a Winter Village, featuring holiday music, 60+ decorated trees, fire pits and a 6,000 sq. ft. ice rink with real ice and views of the Vegas Strip. Cost: Free admission. (Skating $20.)

NOV 24-DEC 31
Continue a cherished tradition at The Magical Forest at Opportunity Village

This beloved winter wonderland features millions of sparkling lights, nightly entertainment, great food and endless holiday cheer. Don’t miss the Forest Express passenger train, Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel, Boris the Elf’s Experience, and so much more! Cost: Adult general admission $12. Child general admission $10.

NOV 24-DEC 31
Sledding at Wet n’ Wild

Check it out! The water park has been transformed into Christmas Town, with an ice skating rink, sledding hill, lights, snow, and a 40-foot Christmas tree. Cost: General admission $20. (Children 2 and under free.)

DEC 1-30
Snowfall on the Strip – The Linq
Enjoy a White Christmas in Las Vegas with nightly snowfall throughout the outdoor promenade. Holiday performers will make an appearance at the top of the hour from 6-9pm during the week. Cost: Free.

DEC 1-JAN 6
Stop And Smell The Holiday Flowers

The annual holiday display is back at the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at Bellagio. Thousands of flowers, lights, and decorations, including the tallest Christmas tree on the Strip, plenty of poinsettias, and a few floral polar bears. Cost: Free

SUNDAY, DEC 31
The Earlier Side Of New Year’s Eve

If midnight is a little too late for celebrating, bring yourself and the kids to the Discovery Children’s Museum earlier in the day for Noon Year’s Eve (from 10:30 to 12pm). Guests can make their own noisemakers, and sip on sparkling cider during a Noon balloon drop. Cost: $10-30
