American West Finishes Strong in 2015

American West Homes is excited to report that they welcomed 451 families into new American West homes in 2015. “We are extremely happy with this achievement”, said Larry Canarelli, President of American West Homebuilding Group. “Since 1984, we have been providing homes for Las Vegas families and have welcomed over 17,000 homeowners into a new American West home.”

American West #1 in New Homes Sales For 2016

Starting 2016 off with a bang, American West is Number One in new homes sales in Las Vegas, Nevada. Home Builders Research, Inc. which tracks all new home sales activity, showed that American West reported 21 sales. The only other builders to come close to this number were two national builders, William Lyon Homes who reported 13 sales and KB Homes who reported 12 sales.

According to Larry Canarelli, President of American West Homebuilding Group, American West did over $160 million in new home sales revenue over the past year. This is a 25% sales increase for the company over the prior year. The company built 451 homes in 2015 and projects to build 550 homes in 2016. American West has substantial holdings in the residential land starved Las Vegas market. Canarelli stated that the company has already completed over 17,000 homes in Las Vegas and owns land for more than 5,000 future residences in addition to 4,100 homes in Pahrump.

A study completed by Home Builders Research, Inc. shows that in 2015, there was an over 1000 new home sales increase over prior years in Las Vegas. “It’s a great time to buy,” said Canarelli “interest rates are still low and new home prices in the Las Vegas Valley keep appreciating. American West’s success story and market acceptance is based on building the largest homes, having the best sales value and building the highest quality new homes in Las Vegas. Our new home designs are incomparable to other builders.”

American West Homes is celebrating the success of being #2 in new home sales in all of Las Vegas, Nevada. Data in “The Weekly Traffic/Sales Watch” from Home Builders Research, Inc. which keeps track of sales from all Las Vegas home builders reports that American West is #2 in new home sales for the week ending September 27, 2015.

American West is the only local, privately owned builder on The Weekly Traffic/Sales Watch and currently has 9 communities in Las Vegas. Lennar Homes, a national builder who is currently selling at 21 communities in Las Vegas reported the most new home sales for the week.
